Fourth Of July

Paisley's first Fourth of July was so much fun... We had our traditional Sonic cream slushes, good ol' BBQ on the Foreman (gotta love that) and headed downtown West Palm to see some of the most fabulous fireworks ever!

This just in... Paisley rolled over for the first time today! She is 19 weeks...

18 weeks

4 month check up

Paisley had her 4 month shots this week and everything went well. The doctor said we can start her on rice cereal, oatmeal a few days after that, then fruits a few days after that... ummm can you say OVER WHELMING?! I thought I would be so excited for this... I headed down to my favorite little store called Target and ventured down the baby food isle. I have not yet been down that one. It is a whole new world and experience. I came home with a panic attack and just had to let this whole thing sink in.
Paisley is on a really good schedule, starting foods is going to throw a wrench into the whole thing. She is still really little. So I am thinking of waiting a few weeks to start her so I can figure this whole new life experience out.

This check up she was:
11.15 pounds
24 1/4 inches long

She falls in the 50% for height and 25% for weight.

Paisley is 18 weeks now and is half way rolled over. She is sooo close!

Teething?

I am not sure if she is teething or not.. she has been a drooler for a long time now and it hasn't changed much. But we bought her some of these to gnaw on and she loves it!

New Jumperoo = 1st Boo Boo

We finally got Paisley this fisher price jumperoo thing to play with. We were so excited! She was only in it for 10 minutes at the most and got a chin rub burn from resting her chin on the seat edge. So sad!

1st Family Vacation

Eric's company is a little over staffed right now so he had to take the week off. We decided to go up to Orlando and visit Shamu...

It was so hot! We went into the penguin encounter to try to cool off. You can see Paisley has a sweaty head... poor baby.

Hooter Hider

I was proud of myself for making this... my brother called me last week and asked me to make a few things for a friend of his. I am getting bored making blankets so I was glad when he told me she was going to breastfeed. I made this and some burp cloths. Definitely a gift a new mom will appreciate.

Friends

Paisley has a little friend named Brock. He was born two days after her in the same hospital. They hang out every now and then... don't do very much but are sure cute. They are both 16 weeks...
